President's Welcome
As President of the Bronze Association for Cultural
Advancement (“BACA”) I’d like to welcome you to our Web-Site. The Bronze
Association for Cultural Advancement is an organization whose primary focus
is to provide scholarship support to African-American and other minority
youth.
Cheyney University, America’s oldest historical Black institution of higher
learning, is a major beneficiary of BACA support. The Men of BACA, since
BACA’s inception in 1960, has provided hundred of thousands of dollars to
Cheyney and other Historically Black College and University student
populations. In addition to its commitment to Cheyney and other HBCU
students many community-based organizations have benefitted from BACA’s
support. The Men of BACA raises funds primarily by hosting African-American
and minority professional networking fund-raisers.
In addition to raising funds to support its projects and scholarships, BACA
fund-raisers provide a place where Afro-Americans and other minority
professionals can socialize as well as exchange ideas, experiences and
explore potential opportunities. BACA welcomes your continued support of our
